Celebrate Culture Days With Bucket Drumming
The Music Studio and The Assembly Hall present two free bucket drumming workshops on Sunday, September 30th as part of the Canada-wide Culture Days celebration. The workshops begin at 12:15 p.m. and 1:15 p.m. and each features a demonstration and a "hands-on" lesson. Please arrive 15 minutes early to register. Buckets and sticks will be provided. No previous drumming experience is required.
Ed Lettner, owner of The Music Studio, is thrilled to be presenting this bucket drumming event that is based on the bucket drumming program created by Olivier Cutz, one of Ed’s first drum students. Olivier developed his STOMP-inspired bucket drumming program as part of his public school music program. Whether you want to drum or watch, everyone from three to 103 years of age will have buckets of fun.
The Assembly Hall is located at 1 Colonel Samuel Smith Park Drive (Kipling Ave. at Lake Shore Blvd. W.). There is free parking and easy TTC access.
