Kids Being Kidz at Cloverdale

Every Thursday in August, kids of the community, with their parents in tow, converged on Cloverdale Mall for the shopping centre's Summer Kidz program. Magic, juggling and wildlife all factored in at this annual August pastime. Magician Dick Joiner brought the wonder, juggling act Johnny Toronto brought the laughs, and Scales Nature Park brought the wildlife to the weekly family event. Face painting, caricature sketching and balloon sculpturing added to the festive fun. And the best part was that it was all in support of Cloverdale Mall's Fare Fight for Food initiative to benefit the Daily Bread Food Bank.
