We recently dropped by Lytton Park Tennis Camp located in the picturesque James Gardens and it was hard not to notice the fun that the kids were having. This is definitely not your parent’s tennis program. From the progressive equipment including mini-nets and larger foam practice balls to many exciting games, this is where kids come to learn and have fun. Now in it’s sixth season, Lytton Park Tennis is the largest junior tennis academy in the city. It is geared to kids ages four through 15 years of all skill levels. Through local schools, the program also holds 10% of its spots for children from underprivileged families to participate. While the focus is tennis, children participate in variety of activities including soccer and frisbee.
