Toronto Cyclones Host Speed Skating Meet
On January 30th, young athletes from around
the province converged on the MasterCard Centre for Hockey Excellence to compete in the host Toronto Cyclones' third annual speed skating
meet. Perfectly timed to get everyone geared up for the Winter Olympics, the meet was a tremendous success, exhibiting huge
improvements in skaters across the board.
Speed skating is growing in popularity and is a great alternative for those who love skating but don't necessarily want to play hockey. The Toronto Speed Skating Club offers a variety of programs for beginners and up. For more details, call 416-696-7711 or visit
