A Taste of Scotland
In early February, we had a chance to stop by Henry VIII Ale House in the Kingsway for one of their popular Scotch tasting evenings. With a selection of more than 40 single malt Scotches and an in-house Scotch expert, the event was a huge success. There was a great vibe at Henry VIII that night as customers experienced these fine drinks along with a selection of delicious canapes. Besides serving the finest selection of scotches and whiskeys in the area, the
pub also boasts an array of award-winning international and domestic ales and lagers. The food menu is certainly not your regular pub grub, with specialties such as maple coffee short ribs, pistachio and mint encrusted salmon fillets, in-house prepared pork, apple and sage sausages and much more. Located just one block west
of Royal York station on Bloor St., Henry VIII
is a must try. For more information, call 416-237-1444 or visit
