Avoiding Financial Mistakes
Did you know that by retirement, 45% of the population are financially dependent on the government or their family rather than having finances saved up to retire on? On average, retirees should be prepared for about 30 years of retirement life. Ted Rouse of Investor's Group held a workshop at The Canadiana on January 16th, which discussed how to avoid the common mistakes that people make with their finances, such as not taking advantage of tax strategies or proceeding through life without a financial goal. The workshop attendees enjoyed a delicious breakfast while listening to the presentation.
