Etobicoke-Lakeshore M.P.P. Laurel Broten and her two boys were excited to skate for Rotary Park

Skating for Rotary Park

For an hour during the late afternoon of Friday, January 8th, rink #2 of the MasterCard Centre for Hockey Excellence was full of skaters eager to try out the new ice and, more importantly, support Rotary Park. Hosted by the Rotary Park Rejuvenation Committee, the skating party brought the community together to help raise funds for a renewal of the local park. Hot chocolate, pizza and prizes rounded out the event from which all proceeds will go toward the Rotary Park Rejuvenation Fund. Rotary Park is located on the south side of Lake Shore Blvd. West, between 10th and 11th Streets.
