The Queen Drops By Scarlett Heights
January 5th was a special day at Scarlett Heights Retirement Residence in Etobicoke as they held their annual New Year's Levee, with a bit of a twist. A special appearance by the Queen of England was arranged for the entertainment of the guests. Well, not really. It was actually just a very talented impersonator complete with an authentic English accent and the personality of the royal icon. The guests had a grand ol' time as the Queen amused them while delicious foods and beverages were served to celebrate the new year. A RCMP Mountie was also on hand to escort the Queen. For many of the guests who were visiting Scarlett Heights for the first time they also had a chance to tour the beautiful facilities.
