Party in the Park

Residents of the Alderwood community in south Etobicoke came together in Delma Park on a Saturday afternoon in mid-August to enjoy a day in the sun and, most importantly, raise awareness about a local environmental concern. Residents are worried about chemical emissions and odours emanating from Fleetwood Fine Furniture, a manufacturer of high-end motel furniture located at 75 Browns Line. Alderwood neighbours have joined with the Toronto Environmental Alliance (TEA) to help build a better, healthier community, and they need your help. Learn more about this initiative by visiting torontoenvironment.org. You can also call Lina Cino, Good Neighbour Campaign Coordinator, at 416-596-0660 or email lina@torontoenvironment.org for more details.
