Antiques Appraisal Day
We didn't discover any Picasso paintings or Rembrandt creations, but there were plenty of treasures on the table at the Islington Seniors' Centre in mid-June as residents and guests asked Alex of Treasure Antiques to tell them whether or not they were about to be Etobicoke's newest millionaires. Alex carefully inspected the items, many of them old family heirlooms, and offered the owners fair market valuations of their treasures. It was an enjoyable afternoon that let some know their treasures possessed more than just sentimental value.
