Project XX Marks the Spot
In recognition of International Women's Day, Great Lakes Brewery put a feminine twist on their monthly Project X event, and added a second 'X' for good measure. The ladies truly ran the show during the evening that celebrated beer, food, art and music. The food was provided by Kristy and Chelsea from The Troubadour Bar; the art was crafted by the hand of Melle from Great Lakes; the music was courtesy of Briar; and the two special cask beers on tap were brilliantly brewed by women. Of course with beer involved there were naturally a few men in attendance. All proceeds from entry fees to March's event will go to support Women's Habitat of Etobicoke. The next Project X will be held on April 1st.
