Police Services Hold Town Hall Meeting

The 22 Division Toronto Police Service, in partnership with their Community Police Liaison Committee (CPLC), invited residents to their annual town hall meeting on February 9th at the Toronto Police College. Special guests included Dr. A. Mukherjee, Chair of the Toronto Police Services Board, and Deputy Chief Kim Derry, Divisional Police Commander. Attendees discussed serious topics like guns and gangs, forensic identification, Toronto Police links, and community safety. The meeting offered residents a firsthand viewing of the new communication strategy between the police and members of the community. After the presentations, the floor opened up in traditional town hall style for a question and answer session. For more information call 416-808-2200 or visit www.torontopolice.on.ca/d22.
