Aristotle said, “The flute is not an instrument that has a good moral effect: it is too exciting.” Samantha Chang brought some of that musical titillation to Royal York Road United Church on February 28th as part of the five-part series, 'Sundays @ 3.' Sweet sounds leapt across the high ceilings and back down to the pews where there were so many people kids had to sit on their parents' laps to listen. Chang is a maestro western concert flute musician. She was accompanied by Ellen Meyer on the grand piano. The next concert will be on June 6th at 3 p.m. Suggested donations are $20.
