Bright Ideas

Who would have thought that you could get information on making your house greener, tips to lower your electricity bills, chocolate, and a massage all in one place? Well, visitors to the Solar and Conservation Fair held on September 10th at Assembly Hall did just that. In addition to the treats and pampering, guests attended a variety of seminars featuring the benefits of rooftop solar installations, using solar power for hot water and the advantages of community power. Attendees were also able to pick up tips on how they could take simple steps towards incorporating conservation and sustainable living strategies into their everyday lives. Sound interesting? Visit solarfair.ca for more information.
